RESIDENTIAL LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
Residential Landscape Maintenance Across Metro Vancouver
Basilscape provides coordinated recurring landscape maintenance for homeowners who need ongoing care across lawns, garden beds, hedges, shrubs, and other suitable outdoor areas. Care is planned around your property, priorities, the season, access, and the services included in your plan.

SERVICE OVERVIEW
Coordinated Landscape Care for Your Home
Residential landscape maintenance brings suitable lawn and garden tasks together in one clear plan. It works well for homes that need more than lawn mowing alone, while keeping larger cleanups and landscaping projects separate.
Recurring Care Across More Than One Area
Your plan may coordinate care for lawns, garden beds, hedges, shrubs, and light seasonal upkeep where those services suit the property.
A Scope Built Around Your Property
Scheduling and visit frequency can be discussed based on your property, service needs, the season, access, and included tasks.
WHAT MAY BE INCLUDED
What Residential Landscape Maintenance Can Include
Your maintenance plan can combine suitable services across the property, but every visit will not necessarily include every task. Your estimate clearly lists the areas, priorities, work, and cleanup arrangements included.
Lawn Care
Suitable plans may include scheduled mowing, accessible edge trimming, and hard-surface blow-off for lawn areas included in the plan. Visit lawn mowing and maintenance for the full lawn-specific scope.
Garden-Bed Care
Depending on your plan, maintenance may include manual weeding, removal of loose leaves and plant debris, light seasonal cutback, and surface tidying. See garden-bed maintenance and weeding for service details.
Hedge & Shrub Care
Routine trimming and shaping of accessible hedges and shrubs may be coordinated when included in your plan. Review hedge and shrub trimming for limits and project-specific work.
Seasonal Property Upkeep
Light leaf and landscape-debris cleanup may be part of scheduled visits for applicable areas. A larger catch-up or overgrown-property reset is better handled as a one-time yard cleanup.
HOW MAINTENANCE IS PLANNED
A Maintenance Plan Built Around Your Property
Basilscape reviews the property details, current landscape condition, requested services, access, photos, seasonal needs, and your priorities before confirming your maintenance plan. That way, you know what to expect before recurring work is scheduled.
Property Condition and Priorities
The starting condition of the lawn, beds, hedges, shrubs, and other requested areas helps determine what routine work is practical and whether initial catch-up work is needed.
Season and Growth
Grass growth, weeds, leaves, shrubs, weather, and seasonal conditions affect the work a property may need and how priorities can change through the year.
Access and Site Conditions
Gates, parked vehicles, stored items, pets, obstacles, wet ground, and other site conditions can affect whether an area can be maintained safely and efficiently.
Included Tasks and Scheduling
Your estimate confirms the areas, recurring tasks, service details, pricing, and any additional items quoted separately. Scheduling is based on the confirmed plan and availability.
WHO THIS SERVICE IS FOR
When Coordinated Landscape Care Is a Good Fit
Residential landscape maintenance may be a good fit when several outdoor areas need routine attention and you want them cared for through one clear plan.
Several Areas Need Ongoing Care
The lawn, garden beds, hedges, shrubs, and general presentation all need attention through one coordinated service.
Your Property Is Ready for Routine Upkeep
The requested areas are in a condition that can be maintained through recurring care, or any necessary initial work has been identified first.
You Want Clear Coordination
You want clear priorities, defined tasks, and one estimate that explains what is included and what remains separate.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SERVICE
Ongoing Maintenance or a One-Time Service?
The right service depends on whether the property needs coordinated recurring upkeep, a single catch-up visit, or one clearly defined landscaping task. Keeping those pathways separate makes the estimate and ongoing expectations easier to understand.
When Residential Maintenance Fits
Choose this pathway when a home needs coordinated recurring care across more than one applicable landscape area through one confirmed plan.
When a Yard Cleanup Fits
Choose a yard cleanup when the main need is a one-time, seasonal, overgrown, or catch-up visit before routine maintenance is considered.
When a Dedicated Service Fits
Choose an individual service when the need is limited to lawn mowing, garden-bed care, hedge trimming, mulch, planting, or sod work rather than coordinated maintenance.
New mulch, planting, sod replacement, major cleanup, and other project work are not automatically included in recurring residential maintenance. If appropriate, they can be reviewed as separate projects.
CLEAR SERVICE EXPECTATIONS
What Residential Maintenance Does—and Does Not—Cover
A clear maintenance plan helps you and the crew understand the planned work, limits, access needs, and any extra items before service begins.
Areas and Tasks in Your Plan
Recurring service applies to the outdoor areas and maintenance tasks listed in your estimate. Other sections of the property are not automatically included.
How Additional Work Is Added
Extra trimming, new maintenance areas, mulch, planting, hauling, heavier cleanup, and other changes require review and approval before being added.
Practical Service Limits
Routine hedge and shrub care remains subject to safe access and Basilscape’s normal service limits. Tall, hazardous, or specialized tree work requires separate specialist review.
Schedule and Frequency
Scheduling and visit frequency depend on the property, seasonal growth, included tasks, access, weather, service needs, and availability rather than a fixed package.
Standard residential landscape maintenance does not include irrigation repair, pesticide or herbicide programs, arborist or major tree work, major excavation, drainage construction, hardscaping, or other specialized property services.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions About Residential Landscape Maintenance
Does every visit include every service?
No. Your plan identifies the areas and recurring tasks included. Seasonal projects, extra cleanup, new maintenance areas, and other work are added only after review and approval.
How is maintenance frequency decided?
The appropriate schedule depends on the property layout, landscape condition, seasonal growth, included tasks, access, service needs, and availability. The same frequency is not assumed to suit every home.
Can a one-time cleanup come before recurring maintenance?
Yes. An initial cleanup or heavier visit may be recommended when the property is overgrown, heavily weeded, debris-filled, or outside normal maintenance conditions. Recurring care can then be considered if the property and requested ongoing care are suitable.
Can mulch, planting, or sod work be added?
Those are separate project services. They can be reviewed as separate projects when appropriate, but they are not automatically included in recurring residential maintenance.
